In the spring of 2004 VWB was hired by administrators at Mount  Healthy Christian Home to examine market potential for the redevelopment of residential space within the homes existing facilities.  Mount Healthy Christian Home offers a continuum of care including congregate care, assisted-living and nursing care, and had an under-utilized floor within one of its two residential buildings. VWB made a variety of recommendations for improving the facility, enhancing marketability and adding memory care beds to provide an even more specialized type of care at the facility. 

 The 18 Alzheimer's/ assisted-living beds recommended by VWB experienced an absorption rate of 3.5 beds per month, reaching 90.0 occupancy within five months. VWB has subsequently worked with the Mount  Healthy Christian Home to improve the marketability of other components of their facility.
