Puerto Rico Demographics Now Available
VWB Research is pleased to announce the availability of demographics for Puerto Rico. This information will be used in the preparation of NCAHMA formatted Tax Credit housing market studies as well as preliminary evaluations for a variety of housing developments.
Demographics from the U.S. territories are not readily available and are not updated on a frequent basis. Information is now available from VWB Research by custom market areas, block group, census tract, zip code, city, county, and state. Specifically, SF3 Census Data Table, 2006 estimates of population by age, sex, and race, 2006 estimate of household income, and 2011 projections of population by race are included. Puerto Rico is an active participant in the federal low-income housing Tax Credit market, with 118 low-income projects located throughout the territory in 2004 (2005 and 2006 data not available).
