Rob Vogt Cited in Columbus Dispatch

Rob Vogt was cited in the Columbus Dispatch August 15, 2009 in the article “Lincoln Park’s neighbors hope “turnaround czar” can fullfill promise.”

The article discusses Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority’s (CMHA) sale of Lincoln Park, a 311-unit public housing complex, to Vaios Theodorakos. Lincoln Park is located in Columbus’ South Side, an area traditionally high in crime. Theadorakos plans to convert the property to market-rate apartments and promises to spend millions renovating the property.

This is the first time CMHA has sold off such a large property to privitize, and many are wondering if it can be accomplished. "That's truly going to be a challenge," said Rob Vogt of VWB Research. VWB Research prepared a market study of the area for the Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority.
