Analysts attend LEAN Training

VWB Research market analysts recently completed LEAN 232 Lender Underwriting Training in Chicago, Illinois.

Nancy Patzer and Nathan Young, market analysts with VWB Research, recently attended the LEAN 232 Lender Underwriter Training.  Held at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers on January 25th through 28th, the LEAN training provided information on the program for all parties, including HUD staff, lenders, attorneys, third party appraisers and market analysts.

The training provided valuable insight into the LEAN program.  Many HUD managers who review market studies and lenders were in attendance, and they provided information regarding some of the issues surrounding the market analysis and appraisal formats and methodologies.  “We emerged with a clearer picture of what is expected from a market analysis and plan to modify our studies to respond to the LEAN expectations,” said Ms. Patzer.
