Countywide and Citywide Housing Assessments

VWB can assist counties and cities to better understand their housing need to better allocate precious dollars. Areas are established based on the socioeconomic composition of areas. Surveys are completed to identify inventories and occupancy status. Housing assessments can be undertaken for for-sale or for-lease product or a combination of both. For-lease assessments include a comprehensive survey of Tax Credit and government-subsidized rental properties, and a survey of market-rate projects throughout the county or city. For-sale assessments include active and established condominium or single-family home products, or a combination of both. The results of this analysis allow the county or city to prioritize its resources as well as minimize potential competition from future allocations and proposed product.
